b-glowing Illuminate + Shine Palette Review, Beauty Look, And Swatches

Sent for review

The b-glowing Illuminate + Shine Palette is an age embracing eye and face palette that's infused with Micro Vector Plump also known as GABA-HYA a mixture of good for you ingredients that plump, hydrate, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

Thoughts/experience:

The b-glowing Illuminate + Shine eye and face palette is stunning to look at. I love the blush toned zippered clutch that you can use to travel with for easy on the go touch-ups. Inside there is everything you need to create the perfect eye look. There's a primer, highlighter, and eight gorgeous eye shadows in a mix of matte, satin, and micro glitter finishes. The shades in the palette are:

  • ethereal (matte finish)
  • ella (satin finish)
  • halcyon (satin finish)
  • baroque (satin/metallic with micro glitter finish)
  • silhouette (matte finish)
  • cashmere (satin finish)
  • vintage (satin finish)
  • rococo (satin/metallic with micro glitter)

I love that the b-glowing Illuminate + Shine eye and face palette is made for women my age and older because the ingredients inside the gorgeous products have anti-aging ingredients, or rather like the founder likes to say age embracing ingredients. Once you get older or start noticing signs of aging it is important to use products like the b-glowing Illuminate + Shine eye and face palette. The ingredients (GABA-HYA) like collagen, hyaluronic acid help plump the skin, hydrate and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Most importantly if you have mature skin, the eye shadows don't emphasize any lines you may have on your eyes.

The ingredients inside the shadows are high quality and luxurious. Once applied you get smooth application with high shine, and color. I created two looks with the palette, and I have to say I was blown away with how effortless it was to create my eye looks. The first eye look I created I just used three colors since I was going out to run some errands. Before applying the eye shadows, I primed my lids using the primer inside the palette. It applied beautifully although, I did use too much. (more on that below)  I then dipped my blending brush in the shade silhouette and applied it all over my crease. I used ella with my fingers on my lower lid, and ethereal to highlight my brow bone. The shades looked gorgeous together!

Unfortunately, after three hours of wear I noticed creasing on my lids. Usually when I prime my lids before applying my eye shadows I don't have that problem. I'm thinking it's because I have hooded lids, but then I remembered I used too much of the primer. I think it didn't have time to set. So with all that said I don't recommend that you use too much primer because it will cause your shadow to crease.

The next look that you will see below is my favorite. This time I used a small amount of primer, again applying the eye shadows was a breeze. I applied my favorite eye shadow in the palette called silhouette on my crease. I used the shade ethereal for blending, baroque all over my lower lid, and vintage on my lower lash line. For more intense color I added a mix of silhouette as well. For my inner corners and on my face I used the highlighter to get the perfect sultry smoky eye.

Beauty look using the b-glowing Illuminate + Shine Palette:

How gorgeous is that highlight?  You can use it for a subtle look, apply more for an intense glow or use it as a base to use with powder highlighters that you may have in your makeup collection.
